"Chemical abundances' stratifications in the atmospheres of Chemically Peculiar stars and statistical analysis of them"

Different groups of Chemically Peculiar (CP) stars- HgMn, ApBp and AmFm, He-rich and He-weak, Lambda Boo stars of the main sequence are characterized by the excess/lack of chemical elements' abundances in their atmospheres, which is due to the physical processes playing a role in them. During the last ten years we studied this problem for all groups of CP stars based on the observational data and did the statistical analyses of them. During the seminar I will introduce our database, which contains more than 500 CP stars observed by high-resolution spectroscopy technics since 1960 and will speak about the obtained results.
We confirmed the existence of the correlation between manganese abundances and effective temperature in the atmospheres of HgMn stars. We also showed such correlation for several chemical abundances in the atmospheres of all the groups of CP stars.
